I am a part-time maker of violins, violas, and cellos with 7 years of experience. My university degree and full-time profession is Electrical Engineering. I am an experienced wood worker with a background in the arts. My early work focused on designing and making sculptures and clocks of blown glass and wood.
In 2017, I successfully apprenticed with master violinmaker Oded Kishony. Since that time, Oded has continued to mentor me and help me improve my skills.
My interests in violin making extend to devising tools in innovative ways to help the making process. I am especially interested in the work of Francois Denis as described in his book Traite de Lutherie. I am applying his methods in the design of violins and cellos.
